1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the Vant8 platform and services (the “Services”). It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Service. Violating this AUP is a violation of the Terms and grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice, and may also be reported to the relevant authorities or to the venues you have connected.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Services to:
- Break the law. Engage in or facilitate any activity that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction, in our jurisdiction, or in the jurisdiction of any venue you are trading through.
- Manipulate markets. Engage in wash trading, spoofing, layering, ramping, pump-and-dump schemes, painting the tape, marking the close, momentum ignition, or any other conduct intended to create a false or misleading appearance of trading activity.
- Trade on inside information. Place orders based on material non-public information about a token, project, exchange, or counterparty.
- Defraud counterparties. Front-run other users of the Services, sandwich them, copy their unannounced strategies, or attempt to extract value from them through means beyond ordinary trading.
- Launder funds. Use the Services in connection with money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime; or with proceeds you know or suspect to originate from criminal conduct.
- Evade sanctions. Access the Services from a Restricted Jurisdiction, or on behalf of any individual or entity subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- Infringe rights. Infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights of any person.
- Bypass security. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, any account, or any underlying infrastructure; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our advance written permission; or interfere with the proper operation of the Services.
- Abuse the platform. Place orders with no intention of execution, generate excessive load designed to degrade the Services for others, or use the Services to denial-of-service any third party.
- Reverse-engineer. Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of the Services, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits notwithstanding this restriction.
- Resell or proxy. Resell the Services, use the Services to provide a substantially similar service to third parties, or operate the Services as a hidden backend for a service the end-user does not know is built on Vant8 — unless we have a written commercial agreement covering that use.
- Misrepresent yourself. Use a false identity, impersonate another person or entity, hold multiple accounts to evade a limit or a suspension, or misrepresent your eligibility under the Terms.
- Harm the network. Distribute malware, viruses, or destructive code through the Services; harvest credentials, personal data, or session tokens of other users; or send unsolicited messages through any integrated channel (e.g., Telegram).
- Use the Services to launch a token or scheme. Use Vant8 to create artificial trading volume for a token launch, to support a pre-arranged liquidity event, or to create the appearance of market interest for a security or quasi-security.
3. Strategy and configuration content
You are responsible for the strategy code, configuration, parameters, and prompts you submit to the Services. You must not submit content that infringes intellectual-property rights, encodes the prohibited conduct above, or attempts to bypass safety controls (including risk limits, leverage caps, or KYC thresholds).
4. Bots, scraping, and automation against the Services
Many features of the Services are themselves automation — that’s the point. What we do not permit is automated traffic intended to evade rate limits, scrape data, or extract bulk information from the Services without our written permission. Use the documented APIs, with credentials, within the documented rate limits.
5. Reporting violations
If you encounter behaviour that violates this AUP, please report it to support@vant8.com. Security vulnerabilities should be reported confidentially to legal@vant8.com with sufficient detail to reproduce.
6. Enforcement
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate access, cancel or refuse orders, reverse fee accruals tied to the prohibited activity, retain data as required by law, and report the conduct to the relevant authorities or to affected third parties. Our enforcement decisions are not advice and do not constitute a finding that any particular conduct is or is not legal in your jurisdiction.
7. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the same way as changes to the Terms of Service.
